What are Odyssey Camps?

Odyssey Camps are immersive, hands-on science camps that turn curiosity into discovery. Powered by the Meteor Crater Education Alliance, our camps invite young scientists to explore, build, experiment, and imagine through exciting, real-world STEM challenges. Families travel from across Arizona and beyond to take part in these unforgettable science adventures.

What will my child do at camp?

Campers jump into hands-on experiments, engineering challenges, creative problem-solving, and collaborative projects every day. From delicious chemistry and exciting reactions to engineering builds and space science, Odyssey Camps are designed to be active, engaging, and unforgettable.

Who are Odyssey Camps for?

Odyssey Camps are designed for children ages 5–13, with each camp tailored to specific age groups. Activities are carefully designed to be age-appropriate, engaging, and confidence-building for every camper.

Where are Odyssey Camps held?

From fall through spring, Odyssey Camps are held at the Flagstaff Science Center in Flagstaff, Arizona.

During the summer, camps take place at both the Flagstaff Science Center and Discovery Village at the Museum of Northern Arizona.

What should campers bring to camp?

Campers should bring a lunch, labelled water bottle, and wear comfortable clothes that can get a  messy, along with closed-toe shoes. All science materials and supplies are provided—just bring curiosity, creativity, and a readiness to explore!

Are discounts available for Odyssey Camps?

Yes. Odyssey Camps offer multi-week and special discounts throughout the year. Available discounts are listed during registration and may vary by camp and season.
